Colton Underwood is now a dad, and the former Bachelor star shared the news with photos on Instagram, along with the newborn’s name.

“Our world is a million times better with you in it. Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood,” he wrote as the caption of a slideshow post, along with the baby’s birthdate: September 26, 2024.

This is the first child for Underwood and husband Jordan C. Brown, whom he wed in 2023. Underwood previously opened up to Parents about his journey to parenthood, sharing that he struggled with fertility issues. 

“I had so much shame around it. I felt inferior,” he said at the time. “My ego took a hit, because I pride myself on being a healthy athlete. All of a sudden, you can't do the one thing that you really want to do and produce sperm.” 

Eventually, the couple was able to make their parenthood dreams come true via a surrogate. The journey inspired Underwood to launch his Daddyhood podcast where he discusses fertility and parenting.
