About Us

At Parents, our mission has been the same for nearly 100 years: to provide you with trustworthy advice as you raise the next generation of confident and compassionate kids.

Parenthood is rewarding, but we all know it's not always easy—and it definitely comes with a lot of questions. Since 1926, Parents has been committed to supporting caregivers through every step of the parenting journey—from those big life decisions to the memory-making moments.

Our team of editors, writers, and experts have seen it all and many of us are parents, too. We recognize that parenthood is constantly evolving, and that's why we continue to serve up real talk on everything from pregnancy to life with teenagers. Our goal is to lighten your load, provide a sense of community, and, whenever possible, give you a reason to laugh.

Core Values

The values we share at Parents inspire the content we create and reflect our commitment to caregivers from all walks of life. They are at the heart of everything we do.

  • Empathy: We see, hear, and understand you and constantly reflect on ways to do better by everyone who comes to us.
  • Inclusivity: We value diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives, and appreciate our differences as well as the common threads that unite us.
  • Connection: We believe in the power of community to uplift in tough times, find the funny during the in-between times, and band together to create positive change.
  • Honesty : We recognize the magical and messy parts of parenting, taking a non-judgmental approach to everything we do.
  • Guidance: We deliver expert-vetted advice and real-world solutions that are easy to understand, lighten your load, and make you feel supported as you make the best decisions for your family with more assurance and less stress.
  • Kindness: We stand up for kindness and compassion in a world that can often feel divided.
  • Dependability: We continue to evolve since our launch in 1926, making sure to stay ahead of the shifting parenting landscape as we build on the trust you have always shown us.
